Once you build your website you need to get people to come and see your site. There are millions of website on the internet, but the majority of the sites are located on pages that most people will never see. Think about the last time you did a Google search.

When you put in your search term and got the results, more than likely you probably only looked at the first couple of pages of the search results. but there were hundreds or thousands of pages with results that you never looked at.

When you build a website you want the content of your site to be listed in those first few pages because those are the ones that get seen.
